What Reword Me can and cannot see

The short version: it sees the words you type into its own box, and nothing else.

What is sent

Only the text you type or paste into the Text to rewrite box. That text goes to OpenAI, which produces the rewrite, and comes back to you. We do not store it.

What is never touched

• Your conversation history. Reword Me cannot read your messages.
• Your contacts.
• Anything you did not type into the box yourself.
• Your Apple ID and your payment details, which stay with Apple.

Advertising in the free version

The free version shows a small banner advert supplied by Google AdMob. Ad providers collect device and usage information in order to show and measure ads. Your message text is never shared with the ad provider. Reword Me Premium removes advertising entirely.
