Getting started

How do I find Reword Me in iMessage?

Open any conversation in Messages and look at the app drawer, the row of icons under the text field (on some iOS versions, tap the plus button first). Tap the Reword Me icon. If you don't see it, swipe to the end of the row, tap More, then Edit, and toggle Reword Me on.

How do I use it?

Type or paste your draft into the extension and tap Reword Me. The app shows you the rewritten version; approve it and it drops into the conversation ready to send. You can edit it before sending, and nothing sends without you tapping send.

Troubleshooting

If the app is not responding or rewrites are failing:

1. Close and reopen the Messages app.
2. Check your internet connection (rewording needs one).
3. Check for app updates in the App Store.
4. Restart your device.
5. Reinstall the app if the problem persists.

Plans and billing

How many rewords do I get?

Everyone gets 3 free rewords a day, no account needed. The limit resets daily. Reword Me Plus raises it to 100 a day.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Reword Me. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Restore Purchases inside the app fixes a subscription that isn't being recognized.

Privacy

Reword Me only processes the text you type into the extension. It never reads your conversation history, contacts, or anything else on your phone, and no personal information or message content is collected. Full details: Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
